The Rotakin is a rotating target board tool, originally developed by the PSDB at The Home Office to cope with external conditions where moving objects or individuals in various positions could be more easily identified. This forms the basis of the test and measurement aspect contained within BS EN 50132-7 : 1996 and has now been adopted by CENELEC. Rotakin is made up of a lightweight target board mounted on a folding aluminium stand which rotates by way of a geared motor fixed to the rear of the board. It is a user friendly, easy to use tool that withstands windy conditions due to the widely spaced stand which gives it maximum stability.

ROTASTAT( NONE ROTATING VERSION) designed to be used for when setting up ANPR cameras or number plate reading cameras with the added extra of a colour chart and focus chart for addition use when setting up cameras.

We recommend that regular checks of your CCTV installations are carried out using the Rotakin or Rotastat as many external factors could contribute to deteriorating image qualities such as;

• shadowing or sunlight - created by new building constructions
• weather conditions - which could dislodge the position or focus of the camera
• daily dirt and grime - which needs removing that could  disrupt the camera's position
